Have a roofing-related question? We have the answer! Check out our FAQs below to learn more about our services.
For residents, we offer a variety of different roofing materials. These include asphalt, metal, slate, and tile. It’s best to contact our roofing contractors for a free roofing estimate to determine what’s best for you.
Some signs that a roof system has problems include leaks, missing shingles or tiles, or loose shingles or tiles in your yard. Asphalt shingles may appear to be “bare” or lose their granular coatings. Metal roofs may appear faded, but may not have issues until they begin to leak. You can always call a residential roofer for a second opinion about your roofing system’s problems!
This can vary, but metal roofs are typically twice the price of a conventional shingle roof. There are advantages to paying twice the price, as they are less maintenance and last longer. Speak to one of our roofing contractors to learn more, and see the “Metal Roofing” page on our site to see some examples of metal roofing we’ve done.
Some of our shingle manufacturers offer up to a 50-year warranty! We offer a 2-3-year labor warranty on our installations, which is transferrable. Some metal roofs offer a limited lifetime warranty. Speak to an expert residential roofer if you have additional questions!
There’s plenty to consider when getting a new roof. Things to include are algae guards, limited wind warranties, product defect warranties, and roof fire rating of the materials used. Give us a call for a free roofing estimate and to learn more from a residential roofing contractor.
There are a few differences! One is that metal lasts longer and requires less maintenance, meaning you don’t have to call roofing contractors every year for help. Metal roofs also don’t grow algae, as some other roofs can.
